Caucus Ally IBEW 191

“IBEW 191 is deeply committed to promoting excellence in the electrical industry and improving our members’ lives. One of the ways we do this is by partnering with mission-focused organizations like NWPC-WA and using our strengths and resources to ensure women have a seat at the table at all levels of government. As we celebrate our spirit and solidarity and honor the work done by our predecessors, we continue to build a diverse workforce fighting for everyone to have a standard of living proportionate to their skills and integrity."

A huge thanks to IBEW 191 for being superheroes offering strength, support, and justice for women through their generous donation! You can be an ally, too! Learn more at www.nwpcwa.org/2021_allies

Caucus Ally, Kenmore City Councilmember Nigel Herbig

"Government works best when it is representative of the people. While many assume that gender equity has been reached, the make-up of many of our elected bodies would disagree. This is why I have recruited women to run for Kenmore City Council, and why I am a supporter of the National Women's Political Caucus of Washington."

Caucus Ally, Bellevue Councilmember Janice Zahn

"As an NWPC-WA endorsed incumbent candidate, it’s an honor to give back to the organization that provided me and so many other amazing women with campaign expertise, financial support, and mentorship during my first race. This all-volunteer-run group works extremely hard to accomplish the mission of parity for women in government and we should all be allies in that effort!

Caucus Ally Carrie George!

“I can’t think of a better cause to support than helping qualified, vetted women in their election campaigns!  We need more women in government at all levels – from Fire Commissioner in a small town right on up to the Presidency.  More women in government will bring more practical solutions to the problems our communities face.”

More than Ready for November!

Women candidates across Washington state reached an important milestone earlier this month – the primary election. With 80 percent of our endorsed women candidates on the primary ballot making it in the top-two, there will be a whopping 135 NWPCWA-endorsed candidates on the ballot in November. These candidates need your help to get across the finish line and into public office! Check out our summary below of some notable wins across the state!
