Seattle City Council
Teresa Mosqueda is a longtime advocate with a proven track record fighting for healthy kids, working families, and equitable communities. When the city-wide eighth Seattle City Council seat opened, Teresa decided to run with the encouragement of her family, friends, and the Caucus. As an endorsed candidate, the Caucus supported her with donations, counsel, and connections to other women leaders for mentorship and guidance.
With Teresa's win, the Seattle City Council now has a woman-powered super majority of six women on the council, of which four are women of color.
